Brian Bennett is a graduate from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy. He has been a registered massage therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario for fifteen years with additional post-graduate education in Sports Massage, Medical Exercise Training, Active Release Techniques, Ultrasound/Tens, Kinesio Taping, Myofascial Release, Custom Orthotics, and other related modalities.

Brian is a regular guest speaker at Running Room clinics and is a certified CPR and First Aid Instructor. He has treated some of the world’s top athletes at events such as the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics and the ATP Men’s Masters Tennis series.

Brian is an accomplished Ironman triathlete, and runner, having competed in the Ironman world championships in Kona, Hawaii, in 2008. He has competed in 5 Ironman Triathlons, over 50 shorter triathlons, 9 marathons including the 2011 New York City marathon, and is always training for his next race. Brian has been a professional ski patroller for 28 years, a member of the critical incident stress manegment (cism) team for the ski patrol, and is a former alpine & nordic ski instructor/racing coach who won coach award of merit from the Canadian Ski Coaches Federation. Felix graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Georgian College in 2020, with certifications in kinesiotaping, and cupping. His passion is working with individuals to achieve their best level of health and fitness through restoring normal muscle function, improving joint range of motion and neuromobility.

Having spent several years volunteering with his local law enforcement agency, including 10 years (and counting) serving in the Canadian Armed Forces, he is no stranger to the difficulties of managing injuries with significant impacts to quality of life.

Suffering a disc herniation while training in 2018, he had to undergo a lengthy recovery process which set back his career and personal aspirations. It was through this and similar experiences that have allowed Felix to fully appreciate the value of quality care and proper rehabilitation.
